Security Doctors Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy was last updated in March 2006.

At Security Doctors (“SD”), your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. As a result, we have adopted the following privacy policy regarding how the information you provide to us during your visit to the Security Doctors websites: www.securitydoctors.com and/or Security Doctors (collectively, the “SD Websites”) is used and maintained. If you visit any other website maintained by Security Doctors or its affiliates, please be sure to refer to the privacy policy and other website terms and conditions posted on that site.

Security Doctors Privacy Policy applies solely to persons residing in the United States.

Types of Information We Collect

Security Doctors does not collect personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us or you choose a service on the SD Websites that requires you to submit personal information in order to receive the selected service. Personal information may include your name, title, company, address, email address, phone number and the like. Unless specifically stated, we do not require personal information to obtain access to any part of the SD Websites.

Security Doctors web servers may collect the IP addresses of visitors to the SD Websites. SD Websites may also contain an electronic file called a Web beacon or an Action Tag, which allows Security Doctors or its contractors to count users who have visited that page or to access certain “cookies” (described below). Cookies are primarily used to enhance your online experience by aiding navigation and functionality of the SD Websites. How We Use the Information That We Collect

Security Doctors uses the personal information that you supply to provide you with information about your account and additional products and services that we think may be of interest to you. Some areas of the SD Websites are not accessible unless you supply certain personal information. For example, in order to access your account via www.securitydoctors.com, you must enter your “user name” and “password”.

Security Doctors recommends that you take steps to protect the confidentiality of your user name and password. If you become aware of any disclosure, loss, theft or unauthorized use of your user name and/or password, please notify Security Doctors immediately.

Information You Submit

Except as stated in the paragraphs above, any communication or material you transmit to the SD Websites by electronic mail or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions or the like, is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and nonproprietary. Any such communication transmitted or posted to the SD Websites shall become the property of Security Doctors or its affiliates and may be used for any purpose.

Email Communications and Your Right to Opt-Out

If you provide your e-mail address to us, you consent to our use of your email address to notify you of information that may affect your account, or to provide you with the information you have specifically requested. If you send us an email message, you also consent to our use of your e-mail address to answer the message we received from you. Your email address will not be used for any purpose other than those listed above.

The SD Websites may contain links to other websites. These links are meant solely for your convenience. SD has no control over, and is not responsible for, the information collection practices of the linked websites. Protecting Children’s Privacy Online

Security Doctors understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy online. The SD Websites are not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13 years. It is our policy never to knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13.
